I am currently completing a double major in Mathematics and Economics at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. I am interested in doing a PHD in Economics without having to do the masters programmes. Which Universities allow that?

i dont think that there is any university which allows doing phd without doing masters.,.

Sorry to say you but In my knowledge there is no university which provide Ph.D without Masters.
First get Masters then go for Ph.D.

Sorry but I dont think so there is any university which allows phd without masters..If you want to do Phd then you first go for the masters..

You will find many universities in the US and Canada that would give you admission in a PhD course without a masters degree. You need to research as much as you can and make enquiry yourself.

what do you mean by a double major?? and i dont think any of the universities in INDIA will allow you to do a PhD without a master's!!so better you get a master's degree and then apply for the same. you can do it through distant education also but scope is little less in case of a correspondance master's degree... you need to consult the university from where you opt to do your master's..

You can do ph.d in economics whithout doing masters in economics. Your subjects are most preferable . In india I.G.I.D.R. Mumbai you can do it P.U chandigarh offers 5 year integrated ph.d economics . In America university of california offer it. And online submission is open till 31 december .
