Hello Sir, My AMIE membership no.ST606304-2. Whether my membership no. is valid for next exam or not? If yes then how many year valid or it can be re registration. Please kindly say to me for next exam.

AMIE stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or three years Diploma in Engineering course from a Government recognised board/ institute are eligible to join AMIE.

The AMIE Membership is valid for a period of six years. If your membership validity has expired then, you can apply for re-registration by obtaining the Re-registration form from the institute.

So, if you have taken the AMIE Membership six years back then, your membership is not valid else, your membership is valid to apply for examinations.

The validity for registration for AMIE membership is 6 years. The AMIE examinations for memberships are conducted in every June and December and those whose membership validity is expired can apply for re-registration. The official website is https://www.amieindia.in

The validity of membership is 6 years for section A and 6 years for section B but there is an option for extending your membership that is you can re-register again as a membership, if you could not complete the section A/B within stipulated period.

Respected Sir, I have a membership of AMIE and the registration number for the same is T514205-4, I have given section-A examination in the year of 2010.
Hence, I just wanna to know that whether my membership is continued or expired, so that I need to re-register.

I have completed my AMIE section A in 1996.My section B validity will expire in 2017 winter.If I re-register now for section B newly then my registration is valid or not ? Because MHRD has already withdrawn its approval.

I got enrolled in 2010 and My membership no. Is St 5458132 which is already expired. I just cleared two papers of sect. A so i have to re-register and appear again freshly. So am I eligible for MHRD recognition??

I have completed my diploma and I registered in AMIE in 2006 but I couldn't complete even one subject also. Again i re register it in 2012 and here also i didn't appear for exams and now it will be going to expire in 2018 so now I can go re register it 2nd time

Section A and section B, both you have to clear in within 6 years.
If your membership validity has expired then, you can apply for re-registration by obtaining the Re-registration form from the institute.

I have cleared Sec-A in 2005. Sec-B 08 exams cleared with in 6 year stipulated time. also completed my laboratory and Project.
but missed to clear 01 exams. So suggest how would I continue..?? If I would re-register for Sec-B then it is mandatory to clear all Exams of Sec-B or only pending one I have to clear, Plz guide.
