i am doing my b.tech in ece.i would like to know about the various core job entrance exams existing in our country and the eligibility to write them, i.e.,in which year of b.tech can they be attempted.i've just completed my b.tech 2nd year.

You have to complete your Final Year or atleast should have written exams for Final year. Then you are eligible for applying for jobs.

You are in 2nd year so, you have 2 years more for any exam.
All company needs full 4 years degree completed for profile.I give example of one.
Core Engineer, Nokia Siemens Networks
In this you have to be B.Tech in any discipline.
and atleast 60% aggregate marks in engineering graduation and all career life.
Selection is on the basis of entrance exam. previous work ex. also be counted.

You just carry on with your studies,score good percentile in your B.Tech.

For recruitment no company conducts entrance exams, rather you have to be prepared for Aptitude tests,Group discussions and personal interviews.
There are various companies that recruit electronics engineers. It is true that ,in India, only a few electronics core companies are there.

But when your college on-campussing will take place, you will surely find a job.

So don't worry , continue with your studies.

for applying to them , you need to have a cgpa of 6 on a ten pointer scale .
selection to them is purely on the merit basis .

Hello professionals,

Generally the MNC's doesn't conduct entrance test for their recruitment. They only have cut off's that is 60% all through.
The entrance test are conducted in govt jobs like DRDO, IES, etc.

hii i am arsh..look i am very tensed about my job..i hav got 56 in phy,48 in chem and 53 in maths in isc i.e 12th std..but i hav 60 in avg of 6 subjects in isc..bt i hav got cgpa of 7 in 2 years of be in cs branch..wil i b eligibl in infosys or other gud companies if i get 7 cgpa in rest 2 semester..plz help..

if you maintain your cgpa of 7 there would be no problem for you in getting an job in top company like tsc or infosys
they ask an minimum of 60% in 12th which is overall average so you have an very good chance of getting an job

ECE is not exactly a core branch...The best options for jobs in ECE sectors is telecommunication...In which india is one of the leading competitors accross the world...Nokia,ericsson,Motorola are few such companies which are running at a great pace....Electronics have also a great scope...It is basically an applied branch...

Are the graduation degree from pune university only final year given.
