Is West Bengal SET valid for the post of Assistant Professor in Assam Universities?
I have qualified SET in West Bengal. Is it recognised for the post of Assistant Professor in UGC recognised universities in other states of India? How can SET help me out? Is it valid in Assam Universities?

No, SET exam is only valid for applying for the post of assistant professor in West Bengal. Public Service Commission of West Bengal recruits professor through this examination. If anywhere SET is mentioned for the post of assistant professor by Assam Government then you are eligible.
