I am vanshika Gupta and I am a Polytechnic student and I want to know how I can get in Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science college of Indore on the basis of Polytechnic college my CGPA is 8.0?

Candidates are not eligible to get admission in Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology through lateral entry.

The institute offers B.E courses in the various stream and B.Pharma course.

The common eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main paper.

Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore was established in the year 1952. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogik Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. It offers 11 undergraduate courses, 17 postgraduate courses and doctoral degree as well. The institution also offers part time B.E courses.

Admission Details:

- The application process for all the courses is online

- For B.Tech/B.E candidates will have to appear for JEE Main 2018 or they need to attend MP- Pre -Engineering Test (MP-PET)

- For M.E/M.Tech, GATE candidates will be given preference

** The minimum eligibility criteria for undergraduate courses are 10+2 in the relevant stream. For instance if your are applying for B.Tech/B.E then you need to pass 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, and Language subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

** For the postgraduate courses, the eligibility is a Bachelor degree in the relevant stream.

The eligibility required for getting lateral entry admission is a 3 years diploma level degree in relate ld stream with minimum 50% from any UGC/ AICTE recognised institution/ college.

The notifications for lateral entry will be announced in between June & July. You need to check the website and when announced, you need to apply for admission by filling the application form and you need to pay the registration fees through DD.
If you meet the eligibility requirements then you’ll be called for counselling.
Based on your qualification and performance you’ll be given admission into the SGSITS.
