Hi Guest,

The age limit for Civils Exam is as follows:

21 years to 30 years.

In case you belong to SC/ST or OBC category there is relaxation of age so the age limits are as follows:

For OBC Candidates: 21 years to 33 years

For SC/ST candidates: 21 years to 35 years

As you are having 20 years you need to wait for a year.

Thank you,

All the best.

Hey friend.

You are not eligible for joining in Civils as you are not satisfying the needed age limit for the exam as you are only 20 years

You are lacking in the age limit needed for the exam as candidate who are 21-30 years of age are only eligible for applying for the CIvil Service exam which is conducted by UPSC every year for candidate to join in for the post of :

> IAS
> IPS
> IFS officer.

There are criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the exam and as per that you are dissatisfying the needed age limit for the exam

So,you cannot apply for the exam this year and the rest of the criteria needed for the exam are:

>> You need to have a citizenship in India as per the Nationality standard

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair precentage and it can be from any discipline

>> And for the IPS exam you need to be Physically fit

IF you are satisfying this then you can apply for the Civil Service Exam

Civils, I think you mean Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year for selection of IAS/IPS/IES/IRS/IFS etc.

The age limit for which one is eligible to apply for Civil Service Exam, is 21 years to 30 years for General category candidate which the upper age is relaxed for OBC category candidate up to 3 years and for SC/ST category candidate up to 5 years.

Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.

So You are not eligible to apply for Civil Service exam at the age of 20 years.
