What is the age limit for Defence Personnel for UGC NET and TET examination?


Sir, I am retiring from Defence Service and now I am 40 years old. I want to appear in the UGC NET after my retirement. Am I eligible to do so? Please let me know if I am eligible or not. And, what about TET examination? Is there any age restriction? Any relaxation for Defence Personnel?

In TET exam, there is no age restriction, however, the candidate must be minimum 17 years of age.
