im an practicing advocate. what is the age limit of JMFC? Is there any exemption for SC student?

Yes, there is relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for SC students to apply for JMFC exam.

JMFC stands for Judicial Magistrate First Class exam.

JMFC exam is conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC).

Age limit :

For Advocate or Attorney of general category - 21 years to 35 years ,

For Advocate or Attorney of OBC candidate - 21 years to 38 years and

For Advocate or Attorney of SC/ST candidate - 21 years to 40 years .

You are eligible to apply for JMFC.There is 5 years relaxation applicable for SC/ST.Judicial Magistrate First Track Court (JMFC) Exam is conducted by the State Government

Eligibility

Age Limit
Age limit must be in between 21-35 years
There will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates
For OBC -- 3 Years
For SC / ST --- 5 Years

Education
You must have a minimum of L.L.B graduation from a recognized university with minimum 55% in qualifying examination

Selection will be done on the following basis
- Written test
- Personal interview
