The maximum age limit to join CBI as an officer are as follows:

For General category- 28 years
For SC/ST category- 33 years
For OBC category- 31 years

The minimum eligible age for the same is 18 years for candidates belonging to any category.

To be a part of CBI, you have to clear the entrance exam conducted by SSC. You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university to appear for the exam. The age limit for the general category is 20-27 years. The upper age limit is 32 years for SC/ST and it is 30 years for OBC. The SSC exam pattern includes General Awareness, English Comprehension, Numerical Aptitude, and General Intelligence Reasoning.
