Is there any age restriction for female candidates in Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)? What is the standard age criteria? Is there any relaxation for female candidates or any caste category?

Age limit in UPTET exam for female is similar to that of male candidates.

• General candidates: 18-35 years
• OBC candidates: 18-38 years
• SC/ST: 18-40 years
• PH: 18-45 years

There is no such relaxation in age for female candidates. But yes, there is relaxation on the basis of caste.

UPTET Age Limit:

UPTET is minimum education qualification to become a teacher in Uttar Pradesh State. The candidates have Completed 18 years of age can apply for UPTET exams and there are no upper age limit Criteria.
