You can apply for the Indian Air force through Air force common admission test and combined defence service examination as an officer. The AFCAT examination is conducted by the Indian Air force and the CDS examination by the UPSC.
The eligibility criteria required for both the examination is given below:


Eligibility for the AFCAT examination
Though AFCAT examination you can apply for the various branches of Indian Air force like flying branch, Ground duty Branch and the technical branch.
For the AFCAT examination candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible.

Eligibility for the CDS exam
Candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
For Indian Air Force and Navy candidate should have physics and maths at 10+2.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit
Indian Military Academy 19-23 Years
Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years
