I ranked in 56000(AIR) in aieee 2012. my rank is in 4000 in delhi region, gen category. what are my best options in engg colleges and fields??? please help....

Hi dear..

You have got a nice rank in AIEEE and can get many institutes. Here I have attached a list of colleges (the number before each college name represents it's rank) . Fill your preference sheet accordingly.

And yes, try for these colleges too :-

~> DCRUST
~> JAYPEE NOIDA
~> YMCA
~> ITM Gurgaon

Very few engineering colleges are still taking admission as their seats for allotted branch is over. However, many reputed and recognized deemed universities/colleges are still taking admission in engineering. there are different branches - civil ,mechanical, chemical, computer science and electronics, electrical, aeronautical, information technology etc. I would advice you to choose the branch taking into consideration your skills and interest. Also see what would be the job prospect after 4 years in the branch you take. prepare your future planning before zeroing in on any branch.

As you have an AIR of 56000 its quite better. Hence, you have a bright chance of getting into a reputed and deemed university. But, do remember one thing that class 12 aggregate marks also plays a vital role in getting you a seat.
