I don't think its a good choice to go for job soon after the completion of your Graduation with B.Sc in IT.

As per job, you can get it at any age. But academics is not like that, once you stop it, again it is difficult for you to join the courses and finishing them.

So, better to go for Post Graduation with the course which you are interested.

The two good courses for you at Post Graduation level are
-MBA
-MCA

The duration of MBA course is of 2 years and of MCA course is of 3 years.

If you want to join your Post Graduation in technical related stream, then better to go for MCA course.

In contrast to this, if you are interested to do your Post Graduation in technical related stream, then better to go for MBA course.

Even in MBA course also, you can opt for technical related specializations like
-Information Technology
-Systems Management

The admission to MBA course will be given on the basis of performance in any of the following Entrance Exams
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT etc.

If you want to join MCA course, you should have to crack the Entrance Exam being conducted by the particular university in which you want to join.

If you want to join MCA in NITs, then you should crack NIMCET Exam.

Choose wise decision and carry out accordingly.

Wish you all the best.

Hello Friend........

After Bsc-IT, you can study further or you can get job in MNC IT companies.

Study :
You have different options for Master Degree after Bsc IT(Graduation).

MSc. IT
MCA
MBA
MS etc...

Job :
Many IT companies are providing jobs for BSc IT graduates.
Job scope in IT sector is very wide right from computer hardware and networking to softwares. There are several other sectors too like Telecommunication, Office Automation etc in which you would find requirement of IT. With B.SC IT degree in your hand you can look for entry level jobs in these sectors.

Different IT Job Profiles are:

The basic job titles one sees for IT-related positions include

Software Engineer / Programmer
Developer (.NET / JAVA / C++ etc...)
Network Administrator
Database Administrator
Network Programmer
Tester

System Analyst
Business Analyst
System Engineer
Hardware Engineer
Support Specialist etc...

With B.Sc IT degree, you will get entry level job in the above profiles.

Study + Job :
Some MNC IT companies provide job along with Study (MCA, MS) facility.
But they will pay you less salary.
It's not salary, they called it as Scholarship and they treat you as
Student(at study time) + Employee(at work time) .

Example :

WASE Programs from WIPRO :
WASE stands for Wipro Academy of Software Excellence.
Wipro Technologies India’s leading IT company initiated the WASE Programme – Wipro Academy of Software Excellence in 1995. It is the oldest and the most successful Earn while you Learn Programme in the country.

Hi friend..

After your B.Sc in Information Technology, you can opt for both job as well as for higher studies but according to me,you should first complete your higher studies because it will increase your job prospects and you can earn much more after your higher studies.

So,first I am listing the higher studies options for you:-
1.M.Sc IT.
2.MCA.
3.MBA.
For you,MBA from these two streams will be more suitable:-
Information Technology.
System Management.

The duration of all the above courses is 2 years.
If you want to do M.Sc or MCA,you will have to give the entrance test conducted by the institutions.

If you are interested to do MBA,then also you will have to appear for various entrance tests like XAT,MAT,CAT,SNAT,etc.

The admission process is carried out through three stages:-
1.Written Test.
2.Group Discussion.
3.Interview.

So,if you want to go for higher studies, above are the suitable options.
However,if you are willing to go for job,the following will be the job types for you after your B.Sc IT:-
1.Computer Support Specialist.
2.Database Administrator.
3.Online Editor.
4.System Analyst.
5.Web Designer.
6.Information Architect,etc.

So,just decide what is your future planning and then do according to that.
Best of luck.
Thanks.

HI

BSc IT is a graduation program, so is b.arch.
Both are totally different. B.Arch deals with study of architecture.

You can go for b.arch but your 3 year of bsc wont add any value to your not will it has any importance once you do b.arch.

I would suggest you to go for MCA or MBA to earn good salary but if you are very much inclined towards b.arch then you may go for b.arch after all your interest comes first.

All the best
