What can I do to join Crime branch if I have 4 years experience in project field
I m BE Electrical.I have 4 years of experience inproject field.Please suggest what can i do to join crime branch?

Crime Branch is special wing of police force in almost every states which is given the responsibility to investigage complicated cases that require high level of techical expertise which ordinary police force lack. Crime Branch is commonly referred as the CID which means Crime Investigation Department. Today police force in every state of India has its own Crime Branch. In fact almost every major city in India like Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Delhi has its own Crime Investigation Department. Usually the cases related to murder, robbery that are complicated are given to the CID team. Sometimes Crime Investigation Department is also given the responsibility to look into terror cases however these days mostly ATS looks into such matters. Regardless of your education or field experience you are still required to appear in the entrance exam. You will have to appear in the UPSC Civil Service Examination in three levels: IPS cadre State Public Service Commissions District Police Headquarters The other eligibility criteria are: ~~ You should be Indian citizen ~~ For Constable post in CID, candidate should be at least 10+2 pass. ~~ For officer level post you need to have completed graduation in any stream. ~~ Your graduation degree percentage should be 60 percent. ~~ Age Limit for General Candidates is 21 to 25 years. ~~ Age Limit for SC/ST and OBC candidates is 21 to 30 years. Selection Process: Written Test Interview Physical Fitness test |
