i have a degree in bcomm and working as a general manager for a small ISP which is not even listed in the stock exchange. I want to know which career to follow to make me a better person.

after B.Com there are so many option if you want to do further study.

as you are working as general manager then i think better option for your study is MBA. you should study MBA. after MBA you will get placed in leading company as general manager or in other good post. after MBA job opportunity and scope high enough. even pay scale also very high. this is totally study on management. there are different branch in MBA like financial management, functional management, advertisement management etc. you may choose anyone from this.

you may also go for M.Com study. if you think that you want to study on master degree on commerce then M.Com is the best option for you. after M.Com you may try to be a lecturer in any institution. you may go for job in bank or you may placed as general manager in reputed company.

if you don't want to do further study but you want to change your career i mean your job then you may try for job in bank. you may join in indian defense sector or you may try for civil services.

i think it is better to decide your career option by own according to your interest. so choose the best one.

yes absolutely,its better to pursue MBA after the completion of your B.Com,as the subject you have studied include the topics mosly based on the concept of accounts,finance.you might have been know about them entirely or partially,so,it makes you to survive i the field of HR(Human resource)department and many other other fields related to the accounts.
you can enter this by attending your ICET entrance exam or by going forward by CAT it benifits you more,it is the best course for the students who had completed their B.Com,so i suggest you to attend ICET exam.All the best

If you are clear B.Com CA (Charted Accountant) or Company Secretary course is built a very good career.

after b.com there is lot of courses for you from that you can make your good future .
1.MBA 2.M.COM 3.C.A etc.you can do one of these course for makin your bright future

As i know its depend on your interest if you want to do further study then you have many option like you can do M.Com or MBA.its depend on your interest after M.Com you can do job in any Bank and M.Com is something related to the B.Com.Or you can do MBA and you can get job a good company.
and if you want to do study then you can apply for defense or in bank.

HI...after B.com,a lot of opportunities are there .
You can go for M.Com and C.A.You can get very good position in Bank or in other company.
You can go for MBA also,as there is a lot of excellent job opportunities after completing MBA with a specialization like financial management.You can get very good position in top companies.

You are a B.com graduate student,and you have a work experience in manageral post,i will suggest you to do a MBA which would be very effective for your future...

the best option for you to choose is MBA if you would like 2 go for further studies as there are lots of options as compared to M.COM...and also even if cant do well in one or your bored and so want to shift to another job,you will still have lot of opportunities for you to choose....

Choose your career in such a way that you have got a lot of options if you cant do well in one ...goodluck.

Commerce students also have very bright future as number of companies and industries are increasing randomly and are expected to increase further.so,after b.com following courses can really help a commerce student to get job :
(1)CA(chartered accountant)---best
(2)CS(company secretary)
(3)COST ACCOUNTING
(4)MBA
There are further more courses but these mentioned above are best among all .SO, CHOOSE THE BEST AND LEAVE THE REST.

According to my opinion CA & ICWA is best after B.Com to update your qualification.

Many subjects are available in CA & ICWA such as marketing, finance & investment etc., you can choose at your interest.

What course should be done after B.Com. for a good career?

According to me and As you told that you are concern with some finance related company so its better for you to join MBA in Financial management.where you can learn how can you handle and manage properly with large financial capital and how can you implement various scientific technique in real environment successfully.
There are lots of Colleges offers MBA in financial management.but if you want to get good college then appear in either MAT or CAT and try to scored good so that you can get admission in your choice colleges.

Now a days the demand for these MBA people is so high because every organization needs managers at all levels to control operations in a better manner. These people are being sold as hot cakes with high salaries and high benefits if they have the worth in them.

So what i suggest you is to appear for entrance exam like MAT and try to get admission in B-Schools so that you can have excellent employment opportunities.

MBA people have plenty of jobs.They can make entry into any sector.

Make sure that by the time you complete your MBA, you should be good at
-Communication skills
-Soft skills
-Outside business environment
-Latest business trends

If not MBA, you have some other options like
-M.Com
-Chartered Accountancy

After B.Com you take any subject which you interest in the MBA

The main and famous courses in the MBA are the

• MBA (HR)
  
• MBA (Finance)

These two are the main courses which you can take up as a career.

These courses are having a great demand in the market.
