but i little confuse abt eligibility dat i score in physics,chemistry nd biology together 58.6%..but i hav above 50% marrks in all dese three subjects.......nd if i also include english dn i got 63% marks..
so kindly confirm me dat m eligible for afmc or nao..

actually in 2007 students with 67% were called for an interview but last selection was done for the student with 83%...
so merely calling for interview doesnot ensure yur selection and on the top medical selection in afmc is quite tough ....

For AFMC you need to have English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English...

• yes you are eligible as you have score in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology = 63%(required 60%)
  
• and in the three science subjects taken together = 58.6%(required 50%)

so donot worry you are eligible.....

what is the probable cut-off for the mbbs entrance exams of mgims-wardha?also, what is the cut-off for the icar conducted aieea?

sir i will expect to get 170 in afmc,46 in chem,38-phy,44-bio and 40 in english. is ihave a chance to get through...

sir i had also appeared in afmc 2011 held on 1 may.i am not sure of my total aggregate but can say with confidence that it will reach upto 70% approx.i want to know whether i would be called for interview.plz let me know.

Dear Student,cut-off as such is not disclosed.
According to my experience a percentage of 60-63 is safe enough to get through the theory paper as evident from my friend score in AFMC.He calculated his marks before submitting his paper.He was getting 124/200.He was selected for Interview

Since the cut-off as such are not disclosed,do not rely on the answers given by the other members,as they give mere guesses.No one can be sure of the cut-off unless they are disclosed like those of AIPMT.

To prepare for AFMC is really an uphill task.But don't worry hard work and perseverance are the keys to success.The most important element in the preparation of AFMC is the "time management".
Try to manage the time from the very first day when you decided to go for AFMC examination.Give special importance to ENGLISH as there are 50 questions on it.
And above all maintain your physical importance and participate in as many Extra-curricular activity as you can as they give preference to these activities.
A membership of NCC acts like a "cherry on cake".

i am a kv student.in 10th class i got 8.8 on CGPA(i.e.,83.6%) taking more than 85% in sci n eng & over 75% in maths.in class 11 there was aa tremendoes decline in my percentage giving me only 64%. now i am in 12th having phy,chem,bio,maths & eng subjects & seriously concentrating on my board exam & greatly want to crack amfc entrance exam & interveiw.do u see any chance for me to get an entry in amfc.i have another prlm that i know eng very well but have problem in speaking fluently.does it will affect me in any way? also i am the only girl child of my parents.will it would have any advantage to me? your reply would be highly benificial to me.thank you

cutoff fluctuates between 72-78% for the written test.

The cutoff of the afmc exam varies year after year.

Normally the information has received that the cut off is merely 60%

but now it is not the situation.

the cutoff of the afmc last year exam was merely more than 75%.

so dont think about the cutoff mark.

it has on steady value.

so try to aim in scoring full mark which will enable you to crack the exam.

Method of Selection:

1. Written Examination

2. On the basis of their performance in the written examination selected candidates in order of roll number will be called for an interview to be held in the month of June at AFMC, PUNE.

in 2007 the cut off was 67% and over all cutoff goes was 87% after interview.
in 2008 the cut off was 71%.

sir i have scored 50,55,60,&87 in chem, phy, bio, & eng respectively. my %in pcb is 55% & 63%.sir, i wana know, that am i elligeble for afmc 2012 entrance exam. thanks hopping for positive reply.

the cutoff for this year's exam was..67% for boys and 73% for girls..and after the interview it was 64% for boys and 67% for girls..!! and you can give afmc entrance..ure eligible...i am in afmc..cleared it this year...!!

I am a average student ! But working to do my best in 12t. I am intrested in afmc and my subjects are pcb . How much max. do I need to score in my 12th grade ?
