TANCET Cut off :-

• Anna University 40 or above for General candidates.

• Anna University 34 or above for SC candidates.

• Anna University 31 or above for ST candidates.

TANCET Stands for Tamil Nadu Commission Entrance Test and this examination is conducted by Anna University Once in a year for admission to M.B.A,M.C.A,M.Tech,M.E,M.Arch,M.Planing course.

TANCET Examination :-

• Date of M.B.A :- 31.03.12
• Date of M.C.A :- 31.03.12
• Date of M.E :- 01.04.12
• Date of M.Tech :- 01.04.12
• Date of M.Arch :- 01.04.12
• Date of M.Plan :- 01.04.12

Eligibility Criteria :-

• You have to qualified bachelor's degree or engineering degree from a recognized University.

• The candidate must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in their examination.

• SC/ST/SA candidate must secure at least 45% aggregate marks.

• Final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for TANCET examination.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test - T.A.N.C.E.T.

Here generally the following three programs are done :

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
2. Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
3. M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.

1. M.B.A. and M.C.A. :

The candidate applying for T.A.N.C.E.T. M.B.A. / M.C.A. should be a graduate from a recognized university of any discipline. Even candidates in their final year of their graduation course can also apply for T.A.N.C.E.T. M.B.A. / M.C.A.. In the case of T.A.N.C.E.T. M.C.A., the candidate should have studied statistics/mathematics at their diploma/+2 level or graduation.

Generally in the month of February(last week) or in the first week of March and the result is published in the month of May.
