Dear Friend
Electrical Engineering course is merged with some core subjects of Electronics Engineering so as to increase the area of knowledge of Electrical engineers in digital and analog electronics, microprocessors, embedded systems, communication and signal processing. The base branch is Electrical Engineering with toppings of some Electronics Engineering papers. All core Electrical Engineering papers are included in the course for sure. Therefore if you don't get Electrical & Electronics Engineering option then you should opt for Electrical Engineering as in Engineering Services Examination. There are only four categories in Engineering Services Examination which are i) Civil Engineering ii) Electrical Engineering iii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering iv) Mechanical Engineering Visit: http://upsc.gov.in |
