There are several things you can do after doing your BCA.

you can apply in many Govt Jobs like in

• Staff Selection Services
• Banking Sector
• Insurance
• Railways

Every Years Govt Recruit number of Graduate from different discipline in above written sectors .

you can also apply in above written sector provided

• you have done your BCA from recognized university/institution
• You hold 50% to 60% marks in your BCA
• you are not more than 28 to 30 yrs old (relaxation for sc/st/obc).
• you have basic fitness level.

For selecting in above Govt sector you need to attempt Entrance Examination followed by Personal Interview.


Entrance Examination cover the topics

• General Awareness
• English language,
• Reasoning,
• Quantitative Aptitude,
• Subject of Graduation/Post-Graduation.

After BCA only, there is very less career scope as every sector/company needs specialized people in the field.

You can choose either higher studies or job as per your interest area after BCA. If you are interested to continue your studies you can take up post graduation studies. You can choose either MCA or MBA course as per your interest. A post graduate degree will enhance your job opportunities. In case of jobs you can apply for jobs in MNCs after BCA. Job opportunities also arise in government departments like banks, public sector companies, civil services etc.

You can go for MCA after BCA.
It is three years masters degree course.Any college having MCA seats minimum of 60 seats.
FEE: Rs.29500 per year+5000 caution fee
Hostel fee: Rs.50000 per year.

If you want to pursue your masters degree & can further go for studies then You can go for MCA after BCA.It is three years masters degree course & the eligibility criteria for the same is as under-

1. The candidate should have complete graduation with that particular stream.

2. The candidate should carry minimum 50% marks in that graduation

3. The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years.
SC/ST/OBC candidate will get age relaxation

4. The candidate must have maths as a compulsory subject in his 11th & 12th class.

3. MBA-
But if you have managerial skills or interest in more of managerial role then you can also go for MBA after BCA.For this you have to appear in the CAT exam to get admission in IIMs & MAT for other Institutes.

4. Computer programmes-
You can also pursue a one or two year computer Diplomas from the various institutes like NIIT.Aptech etc to make you professional in some particular language or programme.

after completed bca i am doing msc it.plz tell me it is correct decision or not...

I have completed BCA from IGNOU this year, my age is 27, I have 3 years job experience in BPO but before one year i left that job because i don't want to continue the same job in bpo. I want to know the better apportunity after completing my BCA pls suggest me the job feilds which is good for me.

MCA is a good option for you.Because you have a good knowledge of IT field by doing BCA.

So, dear you have many options and whatever you prefer it only depends upon your choice.If you are intersted in the job then you have a good option in Govt. sector because you are a degree holder also.

In private sector to make a bright career in IT field you have to do MCA.After it you can make a bright future in this field also.
So,this is depends upon you that you will prefer further study or job.

The decision needs to be based on your career interest. Having three years of education will not hurt at any point in time.

The career options will also be high when you have an post-graduate degree, but you must be convinced before you enroll for MCA. From what you had written, I understand that you think doing MCA is wasting three years.

If you continue to think so, your interest in learning may not be the fullest and will not be effective.

Learning .NET / PHP or any thing else may not help on a longer-run, as the technology will keep changing and you should be equipped to learn any change in technology.

As you join an organization, and if you are expected to adapt to a new technology / language, you may not be able to join another course to learn. Hope this answer helps you to make a decision.

It is a three year course.
In my persoanl opinion there are two very good option after BCA.
One is MCA.
MCA stands for Masters in Computer Application,it is a three year course.
Second option is you can do any specialization course in any language like:
Oracle
Java
.net
PHP
and many more

After both these two option you can apply in any IT company like:
IBM
TCS
Infosys
BHEL
and many more

Besides these two option you have many option like:
MBA
M.Com
IAS
IES
IPS
and many more

As you have completed your BCA so you can apply for jobs in IT sector.

After BCA you can either go for job or higher studies

But you have limited job option after BCA. It would be better to go for higher studies like MCA. BCA gives you basic understanding and MCA makes
you better qualified than other BCAs. Experience makes you perfect. However,if
you are technical minded, do MCA and you'll excel and if you like enjoying
more of social life and less of playing with computer join MBA.
