Hi, I am a female candidate and I have completed my 12th Board exams from Science stream with PCB subject combination. So, now am I eligible to apply and write the group 'Y' examination of Indian Air Force? If yes, then when to apply for group 'Y' examination of Indian Air Force? And, what is exam date of group 'Y' of Indian Air Force?

Female candidates are not eligible for group ' Y ' recruitment in Indian Air Force.

So, you are not eligible to apply for the recruitment.

The required educational qualification is that candidate must have passed intermediate with minimum 50% aggregate in 12th with minimum 50% in English.

Eligibility criteria for Air Force Group Y exam

Group Y (except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician Trades)
10+2/equivalent exam in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Also, at least 50% marks required in English.

Group Y (Medical Assistant Trade Only)
10+2/equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. At least 50% marks is required in English.

• Online application starts: 2nd January 2020
• Online application ends: 20th January 2020
• Exam Date: 19th March to 23rd March 2020
