what is the elegibility for mca in india?...could u please tell me the details

Graduation is the basic qualification for MCA. The qualification must be obtained with mathematics as a subject either at 12th or graduation. They must have a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions are done on the basis of entrance test like AIMCET or NIMCET. A minimum of 60% marks (in graduation) is required for admission in NIT.

MCA stands for Master in Computer Application .The duration of this course in 3 years with 6 semester .

If you have completed graduation degree with one subject of Mathematics or Computer Science , you are applicable for MCA degree.Even if your 12th standard course have mathematics then also you are applicable for MCA course.

Some college require 50% marks in graduation degree but maximum college not require any percentage marks.
