how to join in NDA

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e
NDA-I and NDA-II by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

NDA has three wings:
Indian army,
Indian airforce,
Indian navy.

Educational qualification:

• 12th standard from a recognised state or central board.
• Percentage is not required for this exam.
• For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard.

Age criteria:
Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Nationality: You shlould be a Citizen of india.

Important note:

• Girls are not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
• You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
SSB interview,
Medical test.

Hey friend,

Yeah you hold up chances of joining in NDA after completing +2 as you satisfy the needed education qualification for the NDA Exam

But by just satisfying the education qualification you cannot apply for the exam as there are certain other criteria's which you need to satisfy so that you will be eligible for applying for the exam and they would include such as;

> Nationality

> Martial Status

> Age Limit

> Physical Standard


The details for them are that:

• You need to be a citizen of India
• The candidate appearing for the exam must be a unmarried male candidate
• The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years
• Candidate must strictly satisfy the needed physical standard for the exam as it is very important

If you are satisfying them all then you are eligible for the NDA Exam.

To join in Defense Service after 12th class,then you should fill the application form NDA exam.NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year twice.Under NDA exam their are three different defense service like
>>Indian Air Force Academy

To appear for NDA exam,your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years and you should have complete or appearing for final exam of 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university.

NDA-I exam notification will release in the month of December and exam will held on April month every year.NDA-II exam notification will release in the month of May and exam will held on August month every year.

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION(UPSC) conducts entrance exam for NDA(National Defence Academy) two times a year for entry in to three wings of NDA:-

INDIAN ARMY
INDIAN NAVY
INDIAN AIR FORCE

After 12th standard with PCM subjects you are eligible to apply for all the wings of NDA but without PCM one is only eligible to apply for Indian Army wing of NDA.

Apart from the above criteria the aspiring candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate as girls as per the notification is not eligible to apply for NDA.

The candidate should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The NDA can be applied through on line by paying requisite exam fee which is exempted for SC/ST candidate.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

NDA CRITERIA DETAILS :

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate should complete 12th standard examination

2.Age limitation :
The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 to 19 years.

3.Nationality :
The candidate must be an Indian

4.Eyesight criteria :
Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6.

5.Height criteria :
The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm.
