Eligibility for MCA entrance exams?

Dear Sir/Ma'am
I am a BCA 5th sem student and i want to appear for MCA entrance exams all over India. I cleared 10+2 from Commerce computer with 74%. Am i eligible for MCA entrance as i didn't have maths in +2? or will i have to appear in Maths senior secondary exam first?
An early reply will be appreciated.

hi friend,

You are now doing BCA . If you pass bca with 60% aggregate marks, you can apply for entrance exams.

Some colleges they will ask for 10th and 12th marks. But you can apply to mca with bca marks.

Hello,
As per the exam norms for MCA entrance exam candidate should have maths as a subject in high school examination. You have described that maths was not as a subject in your high school examination.
No matter, remember "if there is a will there is a way".
Prepare for the maths senior secondary examination from the same board you have qualified your high school exam.
Get qualified in that and attach the maths qualified marksheet with your high school marksheet. And show the documents at the time of councelling when they asked for it.
Ok, best of luck.

"yes" definitely your for eligible for the mca entrance examination . maths is not necessary for mca course .but some college give preference to bca and science stream candidates . so you can develop you computer as well as maths knowledge . because maths is very important subject , without maths you can't clear the mca course as you like . so you can take special coaching class for maths and join computer class in reputed institution .

Eligibility for M.C.A Course :

>>you should take good percentage of marks in bachelor degree .

>>you should have knowledge in computer science .

So please well prepare for mca entrance examination in summer holidays , and get good percentage of marks . you surely get mca admission in reputed college .

The eligibility for MCA entrance exam is as under-

1. A bachelor’s degree in science (or BCA) with Maths at 10+2 level

2. Students must have a pass graduation with more that 60 % marks.

3. you should have knowledge in computer science .

And every college has its own criteria for admission as some do follow that maths is a compulsory one while others exempt it and provide admission to those students too who have good percentage of marks & has interest in that particular subject.

*You must have maths or stats in your 12th.
*You must have complete your graduation in any trade..

You don't have maths in your 12th, but as you have done your graduation as BCA then I think you can apply for the MCA course..

You just go for it..
All the best..
