I am doing my distance learning bba programme from sikkmmania university. please let me know if i am applicable for the mpsc examination or not.

Dear friend MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commision.

MPSC Exam is conducted by Maharashtra Government in every year.

For apply MPSC exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 19 years to 33 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.


Number of Attempts:-

General category candidates - 4 time

OBC category Candidates - 7 time

SC/ST category candidates - No limit.


Selection procedure :-

- Preliminary entrance exam

- Main entrance exam

- Interview

You need to be a Graduate to appear for the MPSC exam. Students in their final year of graduation can also appear for the MPSC exam.

You are studying in BBA course so you are applicable for MPSC exam but your degree must be recognized .

Age limit :-

For the OBC candidates : 21 to 33 years

The Acronym "MPSC" stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

The MPSC Conducts an examination like the Civil Services Examination for the selection of candidates for Class-I Category posts in Maharashtra.

The Eligibility Criteria Required for MPSC Examination are :

This exam is conducted by Maharashtra government for recruitments in government departments in first class service in the state of Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria for MPSC includes -

You should be a graduate from a recognised university.

You can do graduation from a regular mode or correspondence mode in any discipline.

There is no percentage criteria.

Your age should be 21 years minimum and 33 years maximum.

For OBC candidate should be 21 years minimum and 35 years maximum.

For SC / ST candidate should be 21 years minimum and 38 years maximum.

As per your question, The eligibility criteria for MPSC exam are as follows:

* Candidate must have Graduation degree or pursuing Graduation in final year from any recognized College/University.

* MPSC has not set any percentage bar in Graduation for candidates.Candidates who passed Graduation with minimum marks (45%) are also eligible to apply.

mpsc stands for Maharashtra public service commission,

it is same like like civil services but the only difference is that civil services are conducted by upsc but mpsc is conducted by Maharashtra state govt.

MPSC stands for the Maharashtra Public Service commission .It is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for the different posts under state government .It is also called Maharashtra state civil services .

Eligibility criteria for the MPSC is as below :

>>Bachelor's degree holder in any discipline from a university that is recognized by UGC .

Since you are doing bachelor's degree in business administration ,so you are eligible for the MPSC exams .You can also apply for the exam when you will be in final year of it.

The age limit is 21-30 years for the general candidates.Relaxation of three years to the obc and five years to the sc/st candidates.

In case of number of attempts for the exam ,general gets only four attempts whereas obc has seven attempts and sc/st candidates have no limit on it.

Now coming to examination pattern for the MPSC:

>>Paper I compulsory :200 marks with duration two hours

>>Objective type

>>Medium : English and marathi

Paper II : compulsory :200 marks duration :2 hours
