my self chauhan Manish devji. my age is 25 working in merchant navy. what exactly qualification required for joining police force.

i have completed 10th and doing my bachelors degree without 2 is it possible to write ips.

I have complete my diploma, my branch is Electrical.I am able to attend ips exam

At the age of 25 year you are eligible for police force.

For joining Police Force you have to qualify the Central Police Force exam.

C.P.F exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

ELIGIBILITY FOR C.P.F. EXAM:-
> Pass graduation with any stream from recognized University.

> Age should be in between 19-25 year.

> You must be medically fit.

> Candidate must be citizen of India.

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Initial Requirements
In most states you are required to be at least 21 years of age to join the police force, although some states will allow you to apply at the age of 18. You are also typically required to have a high school degree, although most states will recognize a GED as a valid degree for employment purposes. You must also be a U.S. citizen at the time you apply, though naturalized citizenship is acceptable.

Physical Requirements
In order to enter the academy you will have to be a solid physical shape. You will be required to pass a physical examination and physical performance evaluation. The performance evaluation will typically consist of a one- or 1.5-mile run, push-ups, vertical jumps, sit-ups and a 300-meter dash. While the standards will vary from state to state, you will be required to meet certain performance benchmarks in each of these activities. For example, you may be required to run 1.5 miles in less than 15 minutes.

Psychological Requirements
In addition to physical tests you will also be required to pass a psychological evaluation. You will be evaluated for severe mental illnesses as well as personality disorders. The goal is to ensure you are free from any emotional or mental conditions that may impair your ability to be a police officer.
Intelligence Requirements
You will also be required to pass a written examination testing your basic reading, writing and math skills. In most states the level of difficulty is comparable to the SATs. A typical entrance exam will consist of questions focusing on spelling, vocabulary, sentence clarity and reading comprehension. It is highly advisable to study before taking the exam, and most state's POST agencies will provide online study materials for you.

The criteria for Indian Police Force is listed below:-

You age age should be till 25 years.
You have passed graduation from a recognized university with minimum 60% of marks.

Selection is conducted in three phases:-
- Written Exam
- Interview
- Medical exam
