NDA stands for the National Defence Academy and the examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year for the candidates who wants to join the Defece services after the 10+2 board examination.

The examination is conducted in two stages as Written and SSB. It is compulsory to qualify in the written for the SSB and so the SSB for the final selection.
