Futur scope for gate exam qualify...coud u please give me the details for the same

Hello buddy,

Gate is one of the most prestigious exams conducted through out india...
it stands for graduate management aptitude test
this exam is conducted by IIT'S in india for the students of enggineering
it is conducted once a year..
it has lot of importance(scope)
some of them are::

>>you can get job in various companies (government as well as private)
>>you can get admission in any of the top colleges for persuading your m.tech including IIT'S
>>on the basis of gate score card you can get job in some of the private companies

some of the government companies are as follows::

>>DRDO
>>NTPC
>>BHEL
>>SAIL
>>GAIL
>>DMRC

GATE is the most important exam for an engineer. Through gate you can get a government job in PSUs like BSNL, MTNL, NTPC, ONGC, DRDO, BHEL, INDIAN OIL etc.

Through GATE you can do M.Tech from IITs, NITs, IISCs and from many Deemed Universities. After M.Tech you can go in research in many private companies or in many government agencies.

I have completed my B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, M.Tech in Machanical Engineering. can I apply for any jobs by Writing Gate 2015 in Mechanical Engineering. If so please specify me.

How many times we can appear for gate exam. Is there any disadvantage if we attempt no. Of times then crack the exam?
