Being a B.Tech student, you can try for PSU jobs by qualifying GATE. GAIL, SAIL, CONCOR, etc are some of the PSU, where you can apply. CDIT and CDAC offers often recruits B.Tech holders in computer science for the position of programmer. In banks you can join to Specialist Officer or IT Manager positions. Officer profiles in defense are offered for CDS qualified candidates.

There are many Government Jobs available for Engineering Passed Students.According to me,Computer Science is best branch among all branch.Because the world is digital now and every one is using Android or Iphones.The Software,Apps,Games are designed by the Computer Science Engineers or from this Field Students.
After Completing B.Tech from Computer Science Branch.You can apply for Staff Selection Commission(SSC Exams),Central Defense Service(CDS),UPSC IAS,IPS Exams,State Level PSC Exams.DRDO,BHEL,BSNL,and many PSU's recruit candidates.Bank's are also taking Computer Science B.Tech students as a Specialist Officers and IT Officers.You can also apply for this.Indian Railway also takes CSE Candidates.Many more recruit Computer Science Candidates in Government.
