there are many jobs for computer science engineers.there are many scope for computer engineer.govt. have a requiment for computer engineer in every field.there are many govt. jobs present.

seles tax office
income-tax office
navy,miltry.
bank.
there are an entrance paper for every department.so u can get job.in the entrance paper u can find questions related to your proffession.

so do work hard.

I will suggest you not be Idle, start your job in private sector because in some jobs some experience is also required.

There are lots of openings in the government sector for Mechanical engineers every now and then.At present there is opening in Indian Oil for the post of Graduate Apprentice Engineer.Even the final year students can apply.The Percentage requirement is minimum 65%.You can find lots of opportunities in the Govt. sector but to qualify these exams you will have to indeed work hard.
You can find opportunities in Railways,various public sectors,state govt.jobs, etc.
