Mechanical Engineering will having a vast field to work with its not limited to few Industries hence there will be a very large scope for Mechanical engineers. Its Evergreen!

Mechanical Engineers in Govt. Organizations:

All govt. organizations asking for GATE Score for recruitment process like BHEL, HPCL, NTPC, BEL, BPCL etc.

Some Govt. Organizations like ISRO, ONGC, DRDL are conducting there own Exams Every year.

The salary packages will be around 24000/- to 39500/- + Allowances will be given if you get into any of these.

Companies like HPCL offered 12 lac per annum package for freshers this year through GATE.

Mechanical Engineers in Defence:

ARMY
NAVY
AIR FORCE

Common Defence Exam CDS can be written for getting in one of the above forces.

This exam is held twice every year.

English, MATHS and GK you have to prepare.

ARMY NAVY and AIR Force SSC , UES, exams will be there you have to watch for notification in net or Employment news papers.

AFCAT for getting into Air Force as

Ground duty branch
Technical branch or
Flying Branch

60% aggregate in graduation without any backlog is required. to appear.

age between 19-23 years.

Mechanical in Private Companies:

All companies need mechanical engineers.

Even MNC companies will heir you for Designing there products if your good at skills and subject knowledge.

CAD/CAM, PRO-E, CATIA, ANSYS, UNIGRAPHICS, SOLID WORKS, CNC PROGRAMMING , etc will be very helpful. Learn any 1 of these atleast.

Try looking for Automobile companies, Aeronautical Industries , Production Industries like steel plants.

even many more are there its end less.

You just need to concentrate on your skills and subjects and watch for opportunities for fields which you like and apply.

Hello sir am not interested in designing..so what are the other job opportunities in mechanical engineering?

I finished my diploma in automobile engineering,then again I joined BE mechanical engineering,and now I'm final year what to do next.?is there any opportunity to write exam for RTO?
