I am studying BE Mechanical engineering. After completeing this, then i want to go to jovernment job. So, please give the job opportunity & some guidance for what am do geting government jobs? And tell some guidance of i am face to job examimations and interview.

There are several job opportunities for a graduate both with the center government as well as state government. You can appear for the entrance examination for the jobs as per your choice conducted by the UPSC, SSC, State PSC, bank PO and clerical exams etc
If you are within the maximum age limit then you can appear for the following upcoming exams ,

Engineering Services Exam: 15.6.2012 ,
Combined Defense Service Exam: 12.2.2012.
Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam: 29.1.2012,
Civil Service Exam: 20.5.2012 ,
Combined Medical Service Exam: 17.6.2012 ,
Indian Forest Service Exams: 14.7.2012

There are various options availaible in the government sector. Some of them are ies by UPSC for ofcourse limited branch, than there is rrb by railways, also u can apply for ssc as well as bank PO and finaly there are public sector undertakings that either conducts there own exam or they recruit directly from GATE EXAM scorecard.

Every year lakhs of student coming with B.E degree in their hands....even though the number of student may be more..the company hire the student who is stick to basic very well and knowledgeable...so,I will say that stick to basic and general knowledge...in goverment sectors jobs for mechanical engineers such as in PWD,CPWD,DEFENCE,technical wings of armed force,and space research organisation etc...H.R may see ur basics and talent during interview...because today every thing is competitive...I'll believe that the answer may satisfies u...your welcome...
