The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO ,BANK PO etc.

Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc.

The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

But the better option for you to go for M-TECH or MBA or JRF or SRF or PHD.

Well, the question in itself is very vague. It does not demand a specific answer. But I'll try to clarify your doubt.

Engineering is a very broad field of study and encompasses other specific trades like mechanical, civil, electrical, computer science, chemical, aeronautical, etc.

Depending on your specific trade and how well you fare in it, you can have a pretty ludicruos job offer in hand.

So, firstly, you can have a technical job, i.e, as an engineer in private as well as public sectors.

If not, you can also apply for regular jobs as you would have don with a non-professional degree.

Otherwise, you can attempt for civil sector jobs.

Finally, you can go for further studies, where you can take up management.

you haven't mentioned your stream , anyway I am giving you general guideline about jobs after B.tech.

see today , there are many opportunities for engineers in and out of India.Every branch of engineering has scope in fast developing country like us.

Jobs in following sectors are booming:-

-IT sector

-Construction/civil sector

-Infrastructure development

-Electronics industry

-Telecom industry (In fact in India Telecom industry ids increasing by 100-150% every year.)

-Power sector

-Embedded engineering

-BPO sector (For this India is 2nd best , only after Philippines.)

-Computer hardware industry.

As an engineer you can go for any of the above sector according to your field , and can easily excel. I could help you in more depth,if you had provided your branch.Anyway , you can definitely get overall idea , about the booming sectors.

Further studies:-

For further study , as an engineer you can go for following course:

-M.Tech(Master of technology)

-M.S.(Master of science,master degree outside India)

-MBA(Master of business administration)

-I.A.S(Indian Administrative services)

-I.P.S(Indian Police Services)

-I.R.S(Indian Revenue Service)

you, can select any of the above according to your interest. Here you can consider last as a further study , because they will provide you very efficient training and you will learn a lot.
