No, there are no jobs for the B.tech 2nd year candidates in the Indian Air Force. To join the Air Force the candidates need to appear and then qualify in the NDA on the 10+2 and CDS at the graduation qualification.

NDA stands for the National Defence Academy and for this the candidates must have passed the 10+2 with the PCM from a recognised board and age between 16.5-19.5. Only male candidates.

CDS stands for the Combined Defence Services and the examination for this the candidates must have passed the graduation and must have the Physics and Mathematics in the 10+2 board paper.

Both the examination is conducted by the UPSC twice every year and the examination are conducted in the two stages as Written and the SSB.
