when the last date of registration for cpt ...could u please tell me what is the last date

CPT is the first stage of Chartered Acoountancy course.

Generally, CPT is conducted twice a year; one in June and other in December month.

A candidate is first supposed to register for the course then only he/she can apply
for the exam.

Registration for the course can be done any time in a year but one must be registered
for the course before a particular date to be eligible for a particular exam.
That particular date before which candidates must be registered, is clearly mentioned
in the notification of an examination.

e.g. The notification for CPT June 2012 examination, has been already out and one
can obtain the application form cum information brochure on or before 04th April 2012.

The last date to apply for the CPT June 2012 examination is 25th April 2012.

But, only those can apply for CPT June 2012 examination who register
for the course on or before 4th April 2012.
The application of a candidate who is not registered till this particular date, shall be
rejected for sure.

Common Proficiency Test(CPT) takes place twice a year. First in June and second one in December.

You can obtain application for from institutes head quarters regional offices, branches, chapters etc.

Alternatively obtain the CPT application form online from the cptonline.icai.org

You would have to make payment via Netbanking or Credit Card.

Fill the details and take a print out of the form.

Paste your photograph and sign the application form. Then send it to address below

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Paper-Pencil mode Examination will be held on Sunday, 17th June, 2012 in two sessions as below

First Session (i.e. Morning Session):- 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)

Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws

Second Session (i.e. Afternoon Session):- 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)

Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude.
