what is m.tech? and can a bsc student do m.tech?what option are there in m.tech?

M.tech stands for masters of technology.
you can opt for M.tech after doing any bachelor degree in field of physics or chemistry or biotechnology. doing bachelor in biology wont be of any use.
there are many colleges in india offering mtech courses. you can choose the mtech course depending upon your bachelor degree.

M.Tech is a course i.e known as Master's in Technology. In India, a common exam is conducted to select candidates for M.Tech from all across the country.

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering )

Eligibility Criteria :

A candidate should be a graduate in Engineering or M.Sc in any discipline to be able to apply for this course.

And since you are only B.Sc you are not eligible as of now to apply for this courses. However if you do your M.sc then you can apply.

What is the branchs for mechanical engineear in M.tech

MTech is Masters of Technology persued after completion of BE/BTech.

For persuing MTech all candidates have to appear for "GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING"



GATE Exam is conducted by IIT's & IISc for admission in MTECH in various specializations. For more details GATE brochure have been attached.

i have completed my bsc in general, so i want to know whether i can be applicable for the course of Mtech, also after completed Mtech what designation will come? please suggest me soon.

i m a bsc computer -mathematics student ,should i do mtech with this subject.??or this exam gate is as tough as iit or aieee..??
