What medical standards are accepted for CBI inspector?


what medical standard accepting for CBI instector A1, A2 OR A3.
can diabetic personnel join CBI ?
In compared to armed forces medical standard what is CBI medical standard

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation

Eligibility:
PHYSICAL CRITERIA:
Height :Your Height should not be less than 165 Cms for Men & 150 Cms for Females
Weight :Your Weight should be according to your Height
Chest :Your Chest should be fully Expanded to 76 Cms in full repiration
Eye sight:Eye sight should be corrected to 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in other eye
  • Completed any degree with recognized university.
  • Age 20-27...years
  • You need to appear for SSC or UPSC exams.
  • Selection procedure includes written exam followed by personal interview.
Syllabus: - part i- general test, general reasoning and intelligence, general awareness and numerical ability.
Part ii- english language, language comprehension, communication/ writing and ability test.

To become an CBI officer you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams


This Exam is conducted by SSC each year.

Educational qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE-
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Next Tier 1 Exam of the SSC Combined Graduate level will be held in May 2014 Notification and advertisement will come out in Jan 2014

Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> English Comprehension
>> General Awareness
>> Quantitative Aptitude
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning

Minimum height required for CBI post:
Male -165 cms
Female -150 cms

Chest-76 cms

CBI-Central Bauru of Investigation

This Examination is done once in a Year

Eligibility Criteria for CBI:

Should be citizen of India

Should have completed Graduation from Discipline University

Should have 60% marks in graduation

Age should be between 21-30 Years for General Candidates and 3 years Age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 Years age Relaxation for Sc/St candidates

Selection Procedure

Written Exam

Personal Interview

Physical Requirements for CBI

Height should be 164 CMS

Weight should be correlated to height

Chest should be 80 CMS

Eye Vision should be 6/9

Pay scale of a CBI Inspector is Rs. 6500 - 200 - 10500.

The starting salary will be approx. Rs. 30,000 including grade pay, DA, TA, HRA etc.

There are various additional benefits as well.

Physical Requirements:

For Male:

Height: 165 cm
Chest: 77 cm and 82 cm after expansion
Proportional weight
6/6 right eye, 6/12 left eye, 6/9 both eyes

For Female:

CBI exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year .

Eligibility :

Candidates must be Indian

Candidates should be complete Graduation from a recognized University

Candidates age limit between 20 to 27 years

The upper age relaxation as pert govt rules

Selection Process :

Written Test

Interview

Physical Stands :

Male :

Height : 157.5 cm

Chest : 81 cm expanded of 5 cm

Walking : 1600 m in 15 min

Cycling : 8 Km in 30 min

Female :

Height : 152 cm

Weight : 48 kg

Walking : 1 km in 20 min

Cycling : 3 km in 25 min

Eye sight :

Distant vision : 6/6 in one & 6/9 in the other eye

Near vision : 0.6 in one eye & 0.8 in other eye

Percentage is not needed to apply this exam.

You must be a citizen of India.

Hello everyone please answer this question if anybody knows .
One movement of my left hand is restricted. It will only turn 90 degree from pledge position means my palm wont face the sky....hope u understand...so will I get rejected for the post of SI in CBI ?
