As far as IB is concerned you can join through thr recruitment process which is conducted by it from time to time for different vacacncy

their is no direct exam or anything like this for these services.


Officer cadre recruitment in R&AW is done mainly by deputing officers from the three

armed forces, IPS officers, central police establishments like CRPF, BSF, also other

central government establishments like IB, DRDO, DoT, Prasar Bharti, ministries like

external affairs, etc. Some times direct recruitment in the officer cadre is done by

absorbing willing candidates selected for the civil services.



Recruitment of non-officer cadre staff is done both by deputation from various central

government ministries, departments and also direct recruitment of those who get

selected in written tests and subsequent interviews. Notifications for such posts are

advertised in Employment News from time to time. But, R&AW is nowhere mentioned in

those notifications for obvious reasons. For example, ads saying job posting in central

police establishments, cabinet secretariat could actually mean jobs in the R&AW or IB.

There is direct recruitment in RAW for a basic post called Field officer
This is the exam pattern

150 questions in total.

Duration 2.5 hours.

Four sections.

1. 40 questions : Englsih , passage reading , meaning , phrases . CLASS TEN
STANDARD

2. 40 questions : General Studies , Current Affairs and other General Knowledge
Questions. CLASS TEN STANDARD

3. 35 Questions : Reasoning , mental ability . CLASS TEN STANDARD

4. 35 Questions : Mathematics. PLUS TWO STANDARD

guys IPS cadre is all that you hav to become . Serve in te police force then you can depute yourself to CBI , IB OR RAW . Also if u see the history of directors of these govermental institutions u will notice that they are all IPS cadres ...... all da best my brothers :)

apply for notifications like deputy field officers, field officers under cabinet secretariat for raw. It will come in employment news.
For ib apply for assistant central intelligence officer post,..normally add appears in ministry of home affairs website. all the best.
