Recently there has been an announcement regarding age limit for the admission in class 1 in CBSE school of Delhi, the age limit for joining class 1 standard in CBSE school is 5 years and 6 months to 6 years as on 31st March of the year of admission. You may also contact the particular school in which you want to seek admission to your child.

CBSE has not prescribed any age bar for admission in 1st standard. However, you may follow the guidelines prescribed by the Delhi Union Territory. For admission in any CBSE school in 1st standard, the candidate must be at least five years and ten months old. As per the eligibility criteria, you are eligible to apply for admission in 1st standard in any CBSE school of Delhi.
