The dob of my son is 01/12/2012. I want to put him in lkg this year 2016-2017. So i want to know about the minimum age required for admission in LHG under schools which are affiliated to CBSE?

Let me tell you that the minimum age requirement for admission in LKG is at least 3.5 years. As you have mentioned date of birth of your son then, according to this he is eligible only after the month of may. In the month of june you can try in any of the near by good schools.

Age of candidate must be from 3.5 years to 4.5 years in order to get admission in LKG under CBSE affiliated schools.
Age of candidate must be at least 3 years and 6 months on 31st December of the year of admission.
You son is eligible to get admission in LKG this year with Date of Birth of 01/12/2012.

The minimum age for getting admission in LKG class in any of the CBSE affiliated school is three years ad six months. Actually you must have to fulfill the age criteria while getting admission in 1st standard. At that time your age must not b less than 5 years. As you are planing for the admission in 2016-2017 so you are definitely eligible for the admission in LKG class. Because you are more than 3.5 years old at the time of admission. At the time of admission you have to submit a photocopy of your D.O.B. certificate.
