What is the minimum education criteria for EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test)?

Sir, I am pursuing my final year of Diploma in Engineering. Am I eligible to apply for EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test)? Or, do I need to complete Diploma and then apply for it? Is 12th compulsory? Can't I apply on the basis of Diploma?

Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2. Graduates with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
