It generally differs from year to year and also from college to college. But the general minimum criteria is that you should not have arrears(sometimes 1 or 2 standing arrears are allowed). For the latest and accurate criteria specific to your college, you have to contact your college placement officer/representative.

Minimum eligibility criteria for TCS aptitude test.

TCS is known as the one of the best IT company of India.If you are a B.Tech student then you can appear in the TCS aptitude test in the final year of b.tech. To appear in the TCS test you need the following eligibility criteria :

Educational Qualification = Minimum 60% marks in the 10th, 12th and in B.Tech.

->There are no more then two year gap in the whole career.

If you satisfy the above criteria then you are eligible to appear in the TCS aptitude test.

i want to know about the online aptitute test?

i m having cgpa of 6.4..In my university one should get 6.75cgpa to attain first class.in my univ they are saying minimum criteria is 6.75for placement.can i attend placement?i m having 84% & 85%in 10& 12th std respectively.........

what is the critiria to appear in placement interview of TCS

i am having 73% marks in 10th ,57% in 12th but in (PCM i got 62% ) & in engineering 73% till 6th sem .
so am i eligible 4 the placement 2011 at TCS visiting my college ????
n do TCS off campus also required 60% in academics overall ... is there any relaxation ??

The criteria to appear in the TCS aptitude test are-
1. 60% marks in class10.
2. 60% marks in class12.
3. an average of 60% in all the semesters till date.

The eligibility criteria for TCS in on campus recruitment exam -

1. 60% throughout the academic carrier .
2. No backlogs are allowed .
3. Year gap more than two are not allowed .
4. Excellent communication skill .

For Off campus recruit proses at least 3 to 4 years expirience is required in most occasions .So is really tough to join TCS as a fresher from of campus .So if you are a pursuing BE/B.tech/M.tech/M.Sc student then try to crack it from on campus .

The minimum criteria for TCS is given below-

1)You must score above 60% in through out career.
2)Two years gape are allowed
3)Pending Backlog are not allowed.

So if you have match the above criteria then you are eligible for TCS.

TCS criteria is not universal. It solely depends on them. Generally, they fix--60% in class 10,12,and graduation(engg)...60% in engg is nt same as CGPA...MIND IT... there should nt be any standing backlogs...it again depends on them...sumtym they permit it...

even for 75% above scorer*(throughout) is allowed to skip aptitude and go for interview directly...thnx!

TCS stands for the Tata Consultancy Services and they are the largest recruiters of fresher engineers in our country.

TCS visits every campus and selects candidates from there by conducting aptitude tests, sometimes group discussions and personal + technical interview.

The minimum criteria to sit for TCS placements are :

If you are fresher then you can apply for a job in any IT company.There are many scope after engineering.So you should go for a job.The main thing which require is you should have knowledge about your field.If you have knowledge about programming language and very good in programming then you can get a job easily.So main thing which is require for freshers is knowledge.
You can also apply in MNC companies.From MNC companies,you can get good job and also good salery.
You shold have 60% above in 10th,12th and engineering if you want a job in mnc companies.
