What is the minimum eyesight required for Indian Navy?

Distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6.

Near vision N-5 each eye, Color vision CPI (MLT).

Myopia: Not to exceed 0.75 D in either eye,

Hypermetropia: Not more than 1.5 D (better eye) and 2.5 D (worse eye)

Eligibility for Indian Navy

Nationality : Indian.

Marital Status : Unmarried.

Educational Qualifications :

-You should pass the 12th or equivalent with Science and Mathematics with 65% or above marks in aggregate and optional as Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science.

-You should pass B.Sc in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics with minimum 60% marks.

-You should pass BE or B.Tech with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any discipline from any institution recognized by AICTE.

-You should have M. Sc in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics with minimum 55% marks.

Age Limits :19.5 to 25 years as the examination time.

Corrected with glass: 6/6

Limits of Myopia: -0.75

Limits of Hypermetropia: +1.5

i have -1.5 left eye and right -0.5 myopia .shall i fit for navy standards?

National Defense Academy

• NDA exam held twice in a year namely as NDA I & NDA II. So that you can apply two time in a year.

>> Stage for Selection In NDA :

> Written Exam

> Interview

> Medical test.

>> Eligibility criteria for Indian Air Force-NDA exam:

• You should Have passed 12th with PCM subjects from recognized Board or school.

• You can apply for this Exam at any percentage. There is no percentage bar.

• It is for unmarried male candidate only.

• Girls are not allowed for this Exam.

• You Age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

• You must be an Indian Citizen.

• 12th appearing candidates also eligible to apply for this Exam.
