it is graduation with minimum 60% for general category
and 55% for sc st candidatess

P.O is the Probationary officers in the banks considered to be one of the most respectable post.

In addition to the IBPS bank clerk and P.O exams for the 19 nationalised banks ,SBI conducts its own examinations for the Clerk and P.o post.

The minimum eligibility criteria for the SBI P.O post exam are as follows:

1.Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.

2.Age criteria: The age limit is 21-30 years.Age relaxations applicable to obc and sc/st respectively.

SBI PO job post for which you need to be give the entrance exam which has been conducted by the SBI Bank.

Eligibility for the SBI PO job post :

1. you should be passed the 10th or 12th with atleast 55% marks from any recognized institute.
2. you should be passed the bachelor degree with atleast 60% marks from any recognized university.
3. age must be between the 21 to 30 years.

The eligibility criteria for SBI Bank PO exam are-

Candidate should have computer knowledge.

Graduation is the minimum qualification required for SBI P.O. No specific percentage requirements are mentioned in the job notification. Candidate must have completed 21 years of age. Upper age limit is 30 years. Reserved category candidates can have relaxation in age requirements.

SBI bank has already announced 1500 PO vacancy.
Last date to apply for this exam is 23rd February 2013
SBI PO exam would be held on 28th of April 2013

SBI PO Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

• You need to be a citizen of India.
  
• To sit for the exam you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  
• The minimum percentage to obtain has not been mentioned. So on getting the pass marks you will be considered eligible to sit for this exam.
  
• Your age should not be below 21 years when applying for this exam. The upper age limit for general category candidate is 30 years.

There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates:

~OBC Candidates: 3 years.
~SC/ST Candidates: 5 years.
~VH/OH Candidates(Gen): 10 years.
~VH/OH Candidates(OBC): 13 years.
~VH/OH (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 years.

Examination Pattern At A Glance:-

Phase-I - Written Examination: Combined
Phase-II - Group Discussion & Interview

Phase-I: It's a combined examination which consists of both objective test and descriptive test. The duration of the exam is two hours and maximum marks allotted for the exam is 200 marks.

Areas of weightage for the objective test:

• English Language
• General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
• Data Analysis & Interpretation
• Reasoning

The descriptive test lasts for one hour and a maximum of 50 marks is generally allotted for this exam. If you score very good marks in the objective test only then your descriptive paper will be evaluated. Comprehension, short precis, letter writing & essay etc will be asked to answer.

Phase-II: On qualifying in both the tests you will be called for the phase II stage. Your marks of both the test will be considered and then a merit list will be made accordingly in the descending order. A maximum of three people will generally be called for one post vacant.
