Re: What is the passing criteria for Science group papers under CBSE curriculum?
The minimum passing criteria for passing in CBSE Class12th Chemistry paper is 33% of the total maximum marks.
As the paper of Chemistry includes both Theory paper of 70 marks and Practical paper of 30 marks so a student has to clear both the paper separately by securing the minimum passing criteria for the paper which is 23 marks out of 70 in case of theory paper while 10 out of 30 marks in case of practical paper. So, having secured 32 marks overall in your Chemistry paper, you have compart in the same paper and therefore to qualify your Chemistry as well as Class 12th paper you need to appear and qualify the compartmental examination of Chemistry. For more details regarding CBSE compartmental examination, you can refer to the link www.cbse.nic.in. |
