Respected Sir,
I want to ask that what is the percentage criteria of 10th and 12th std to appear in UPSC or other civil services examination.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission and it conducts different examinations at different level for the recruitment in different fields .

The most popular examinations conducted by UPSC at the 12th level are :-

I) National Defense Academy ( NDA ) examination .

II) Special case railway apprentice ( SCRA ) examination .

Also the most popular examinations at the Graduation level are as :-

I) Combined Defense Services ( CDS ) examination .

II) Civil services examination ( CSAT ) .

There is no such bar of percentage of marks required for appearing in this examinations at the different level but good marks reflects your image as a serious student which helps you at the time of personal interview .

UPSC exams doesn't require any percentage marks of 10th and 12th standard.

If you have completed 12th standard then you are eligible for NDA and SCRA exam.

If you have completed graduation degree then you can apply for Civil Service exam, CDS, IES, IFS exams.

Well friend upsc conducts several examination every year for the recruitment in different posts and the marks criteria is different for all as:
1.Civil services examination-you should have atleast secured 45% marks in your graduation.
2.CDS EXAM-You should have 60% marks in your graduation.
3.SCRA EXAM-You should have 60% marks in your 12th.
3.NDA exam.-You should have 60% marks in your 12th.
