Re: What percentage is required in 12th to join MBBS abroad?
In order to secure admission abroad - in a known university you will have to be an outshining student in high school years. Medical degrees abroad are most competitive and hence heavily priced. Only the best few applications are accepted.
You need to have a good percentage of atleast 95% at class 12th level for countries like singapore. For USA you will have to take the sat reasoning as well as subject tests and score well in those. You also require a statement of purpose and application essay. |

Re: What percentage is required in 12th to join MBBS abroad?
The procedure to become doctor would see massive changes starting 2013. Medical is one of the most popular profession in India along with Engineering. To become a doctor, you need to complete 12th from a recognized board. After completing 12th, you will have to appear in entrance exam.
Now since this year, the candidates had long this of entrance exams to choose from. Some popular entrance exam included: AIPMT AFMC Entrance Exam AIIMS Entrance Exam DUMET JIPMER Entrance Exam However from 2013 onwards there would be only one entrance exam called NEET. This exam is also created with the idea of one nation, one exam. The same idea also lead to single entrance exam for Engineering called ISEET. The admission in MBBS would be done on the basis of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. From next year most states are expected to accept NEET entrance exam. It would not matter whether you seek admission in government colleges or private colleges, you will have to appear for the NEET entrance exam. Apart from NEET the only other exam would be AIIMS entrance exam. Since it would require parlimentary amendments to force AIIMS accept the NEET exam. At least for next year AIIMS will gonna have its own entrance exam. As for NEET, there is no information about eligibility and the exam pattern. But it is expected to be known soon. You will have to follow news about NEET to find out about it. The NEET exam is expected to take place on May 5, 2013. |

Re: What percentage is required in 12th to join MBBS abroad?
hi dear,
for doing MBBS abroad you need to be a bright student right from your school you need to be among the toppers as it is very tough to get into a medical school abroad also keep in mind that in India if you do medical from colleges of some countries your medical license wont be accepted in India thus barring you to practice in India. so also you have to choose your college and country very minutely. and considering marks you should atleast get around 90% in 12th and for NEET you need to pass with a bare minimum of 60%. All the best |

Quote:
Gulf medical university and rak medical university you need 75%, with 60% each in pcb. You do not have any kind of entrance exam in these two colleges. But in dubai medical college you have to appear for an entrance test on biology and chemistry followed by an interview. |
