im doing bharm 3rd year... i know about gpat bt i dont know about pgecet. wt is pgecet? can i join in mpharm with pgecet? and also plz tell me which rank i have to get in gpat or pgecet to get seat in andhra university??

GPAT is a national level exam and PGECET is state level. (I think it is for Andhra Pradesh)

Post-graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test or PGECET is an entrance test conducted by the Government of Karnataka. This exam is mainly carried out for admission into M.E., M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch and M.Plg courses in to the Engineering Colleges and University affiliated in Andhra Pradesh. pgcet is state wide conducting exam for mpharm entrance.gpat is an national wide.if you get gpat rank central government will give styfund almost 10000-12000.in pgcet there is no styfund and you have to pay the fee more than the gpat.

do we get stipends in pgcet

gpat is an all india entrance exam for admission into m.pharm course ,where as pgecet is also for admission into m.pharm course , but this is conducted by state wide (osmania university in andhra pradesh) . the main difference is that, getting a rank in pgecet does not mean that you are sure of getting a seat in m.pharm college. only the left over seats in gpat will be available for pgecet counseling. moreover if you get a seat through pgecet in any m.pharm college ,you are not eligible for getting stipend.only gpat qualified candidates with a proper college having recognized with AICTE can only get stipend.

Sir i got 1968 rank in pgecet can i get good colleges for m pharma pharmaceutics

in gpat you can get stipend ,and national wise exam ,conducted by baroda university where as pgecet is conducted by OU and is state wise exam and you cannot get stipend
in counseling the first preference goes to GPAT rankers only
