For Btech, you have to appear and qualify against 10 lac people and be under top 20000 in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination(AIEEE).... For M.tech, you need to qualify GATE .. Google them for more info ....

Admission to SVNIT

Hello Mr. Patel,

You haven't mentioned the course that you want to study at SVNIT.

Anyway , I am giving you brief Idea on how to enter SVNIT:-

For B.Tech:-

-You need to appear for AIEEE Exam and also need to fill separate form at SVNIT for admission , after the result declaration , if your marks is good then you will get admission in SVNIT

For M.Tech:-

-You need to appear for GATE(Graduate Aptitude test in engineering) Exam and also need to fill separate form at SVNIT for admission , after the result declaration , if your marks is good then you will get admission in SVNIT

For M.Sc:-

-It is also based on AIEEE

-You need to appear for AIEEE Exam and also need to fill separate form at SVNIT for admission , after the result declaration , if your marks is good then you will get admission in SVNIT

The SVNIT is a central government engineering institutions and is one of the 30 NITs
available in India.

The admission to the institution is done on the basis of an entrance exam which is
All Indian Engineering Entrance Examination, popularly known as AIEEE.

The entrance exam is conducted by CBSE for admission to 30 NIT campuses,
and many other government and private engineering colleges.
The entrance examination is conducted in the month of April every year and the
notification regarding the exam is published in November month of the earlier year.

Presently, application process for the exam (AIEEE-2012) is on and last date of applying
is 31st December 2011.

The eligibility criteria of the exam is as under;
12th with PCM and at least 50% marks in 12th board exam.
Those who appear the 12th board exam and entrance exam in the same year
they must obtain more than 50% marks in 12th for being eligible to use the

You can apply for AIEEE-2012 only if you have done 12th in 2010 or 2011 or
if you are going to appear 12th board in 2012.

The total intake of the college for Gujarat stud nets, is 346.
and the total intake of the college for rest candidates, is 347.

it is one of the nit in india so the procedure is to crack down the aieee exam thats it

SVNIT- SARDAR VALLABHBHAI PATEL NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY situated in Surat, Gujurat. It is considered on of the best engineering institute amongst 30 NITs in India.

The entrance examis conducted by CBSC as AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Examination). The process of AIEEE-2012 is going on now the last date for application is 31.12.2011.

One should have either pass or final appearing 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% marks from a recognised Central/State Board can apply for AIEEE.
