What is the qualification of PCS examinations & how we choose subjects of PCS examinations?

PCS stand for Punjab Civil Services.

Punjab Civil Services Exam is a combined competitive examination held by the Punjab Public Service Commission for recruitment to the services/posts.

Eligibility for PCS Exam :-

Educational Qualification:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

The candidate can take preliminary examination while studying for his degree course.

However, the candidate shall be required to produce proof of passing the degree course for being eligible to take the final examination during that year.

The candidates must have passed punjabi of matric or its equivalent standard.

Age Limit:-

Candidate age should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years.

Selection procedure :-

- Preliminary entrance exam

- Main entrance exam

- Interview
