I have a C- with these grades,Math D Bio D+ Kisw C- Agric C CRE C+ Eng C- Chem D Hist D+ can i do nursing.What is the qualification required to do Nursing in KMTC? Can you please provide me the eligibility criteria minimum which is required?

The candidate who is interested to pursue nursing degree course must have completed 12th with physics, chemistry and Biology with minimum 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories from recognised board. Age limit should be in between 17 to 35 years. Only female candidates are eligible. You have to qualify the entrance exam. A candidate can pursue General Nursing and Midwifery diploma course of 3 and half years after passing 12th in any discipline from recognised board.

As you want to apply for the nursing the minimum qualification required to apply is 12th from govt. recognized board with minimum 50% marks.After 12th the duration of nursing course is 3 years.In this course students are professionally trained for patient look after , Ward management and provide good health services.

SUBJECTS IN NURSING:-

> Principal and practice of nursing.
> Management of hospitality and community.
> Group dynamics.
> Resource management.
> Practical aspects of nursing I.
> Practical aspects of nursing II.

These are the subjects detail which candidate have to go through in nursing.

I did my Kcse in 1998 and l had a c- ltrained in diploma in nursing in Tanzania from 2002. to. 2006 and leave been working in Tanzania until 2017 when l went to the nursing council in Nairobi to be registered in Kenya. l was surprised to be told l cannot be registered because of my kcse grade. The qualification required to do Nursing in KMTC:-

A) Candidates must have completed their 12th with PCB with at least 50% marks from any recognised university.

B) 45% marks required for SC/ST category.
